Hi Friends,
Many of you have asked about my One Year Bible Reading Plan, so here it is to download as both a .pdf and a Excel (.xls) file. You should be able to open at least one of them. If you have any problems let me know.
This plan is structured to give you a day-to-day schedule for your Bible reading, offering six different places to read from in the Bible each day, and I think represent pretty well, if you could break the Bible down into sections, the six main sections of scripture:
Torah (O.T., first five books—the Law or books of Moses)
History (O.T., Joshua to Esther)
Wisdom Books (O.T., Job to Song of Solomon)
Prophets (O.T., Isaiah to Malachi)
Gospels (N.T., Matthew to Acts)
Letters & Epistles (N.T., First Corinthians to Revelation)
If you follow this Plan daily you will get through the O.T. once and the N.T. twice in one year. However, you can follow the plan at whatever pace you’d like, using it as a handy “check-off list” to guide you through your daily Bible reading, and keeping track of what you’ve read and how much reading you have to do.
I need to clean the plan up a bit, but don’t know when I’ll have time to do so. I hope you use the plan, as I have found it incredibly helpful and fulfilling as a tool to help me navigate each section of the scriptures.
Lord bless,
Brad
