The GoodWord Class was developed to let the Bible speak for itself in a group study-discussion format. Each class begins with a group-reading of several scripture passages relating to a topic, then the group is asked three questions about the verses, and a rousing discussion inevitably ensues. It’s amazing what we learn and discover by exploring the Bible itself—then discussing the scriptures in a group setting—rather than forming our ideas and opinions about theology and doctrine solely based on what we’ve heard others say or from what we’ve read in theological or religious books.
